In this oil on board signed by ‘G.N’, we are immediately absorbed by its energetic character and strong sense of movement. Diagonal dashes of paint, blurry areas of colour, and subtle directional scrape marks emphasise this sense of fleeting movement, as we feel like we are observing the figures move rapidly around the canvas. Amongst this flurry of tactile paint marks, when we look at the painting in closer detail, we can appreciate more intricate details such as small patterns of spots and its beautiful textured surface.

Although this painting can be appreciated for its abstract qualities of simply being a beautiful combination of rich colour, texture, and painterly techniques, the central forms could also remind us of a rider upon a horse moving at speed and with explosive energy.

    Delivery

    Small item deliveries (ceramics, candles, prints, glassware, etc.) are shipped with Royal Mail or DPD. Prices are calculated at checkout.

    Local Bulky Item Delivery Guidelines
    Large item deliveries (sofas, lounge chairs, storage, tables, floor lighting, etc.) on within the local vicinity of our showroom in East London (E2, E5, E8, E9, N1 + N16) are charged at a flat rate of £24.*

    Greater London/UK Bulky Item Delivery Guidelines
    Large item deliveries outside of our local area but within Greater London are charged at a flat rate of £36.

    Mainland UK large item deliveries are priced at £58.*

    *Please note! Our delivery costs include a one-person delivery service with delivery to the ground floor only. If you are unable to assist with unloading or require your purchase to be carried up any flights of stairs there will be an extra cost. Please be sure to inform us at checkout of any special circumstances.

    Returns

    For items purchased over the phone or online we do offer the standard 14 day cooling off period whereby the customer is entitled to a full refund (excluding shipping charges), no questions asked. A 10% restocking fee may be applied to furniture returns at our discretion.

    We do not offer refunds or returns on publications or items bought in person in store unless the goods in question are proven faulty/unfit for purpose.
