In this landscape painting, thought to be by Birgitta Holmberg, our eye moves fluidly around the canvas, tracing over the turquoise lines, up through the trees and over the curve of the terrain. This fluid movement is a testament to the artist’s understanding of compositional techniques and their ability to balance a strong structure with a subtle application of paint. 

The artist has captured the atmosphere and mood of this open air scene, with the delicate application of paint and pale colour tones creating a sense that we are observing a hazy day in the countryside. Much of the canvas has been left bare or washed with off-white and this emphasises the sense of bright light and luminosity.

    Greater London/UK Bulky Item Delivery Guidelines
    Large item deliveries outside of our local area but within Greater London are charged at a flat rate of £36.

    Mainland UK large item deliveries are priced at £58.*

    *Please note! Our delivery costs include a one-person delivery service with delivery to the ground floor only. If you are unable to assist with unloading or require your purchase to be carried up any flights of stairs there will be an extra cost. Please be sure to inform us at checkout of any special circumstances.

    Returns

    For items purchased over the phone or online we do offer the standard 14 day cooling off period whereby the customer is entitled to a full refund (excluding shipping charges), no questions asked. A 10% restocking fee may be applied to furniture returns at our discretion.

    We do not offer refunds or returns on publications or items bought in person in store unless the goods in question are proven faulty/unfit for purpose.
