In this oil painting, artist Ingrid Uldahl has brought together an explosion of vivid reds and oranges to create a bold statement. These warm, expressive marks provide a sharp contrast to the minimal background of subtler, cool tones.

The striking composition is structured by a number of parallel and diagonal lines, and through their repetition, the artist has created a feeling of animation and energy as they cascade across the canvas. Among the intertwining red and orange brushwork, we see how the artist has built a series of shapes formed in the negative spaces found in between the diagonal lines. These shapes add depth to the painting and provide balance to the overall composition.

    Large item deliveries outside of our local area but within Greater London are charged at a flat rate of £36.

    Mainland UK large item deliveries are priced at £58.*

    *Please note! Our delivery costs include a one-person delivery service with delivery to the ground floor only. If you are unable to assist with unloading or require your purchase to be carried up any flights of stairs there will be an extra cost. Please be sure to inform us at checkout of any special circumstances.

    Returns

    For items purchased over the phone or online we do offer the standard 14 day cooling off period whereby the customer is entitled to a full refund (excluding shipping charges), no questions asked. A 10% restocking fee may be applied to furniture returns at our discretion.

    We do not offer refunds or returns on publications or items bought in person in store unless the goods in question are proven faulty/unfit for purpose.
